2016 YAMAHA TW200 Review
Design - When I'm running TW200, first noticed those fat - almost whimsical fat - tire. Yamaha 130 series tires on the front - size, normally reserved for cyclists behind this size - and put the 180 series tires in the back. With knobby tread reaches about almost from edge to edge, you want to know the dirt bike. The second thing I noticed is how slim the bike. I can call it almost wasp waist. Combined height of just over 31 inches of the lower seat, can easily find ground traffic lights and slow manipulation. This is not 31 inches it is called "low" seat height for me, but for off-road, it really is whispered.
Instruments are easy to read and can simulate almost doubles top mounted as a square headlight fairing bullet inside tripletree of. I have not seen any formal, but the numbers range from 66 to 73 the maximum speed, but these are from fans, non-professional riders on public roads coming. However, when the bicycle stand up close on the highway, a little shake.
Chassis - Yamaha cage nice and light single stretch, emphasizing the use of the engine the engine as a structural member, in order to complete the assembly frame design. This eliminates the need for a heavy-duty bracket supporting the engine weight, and to some extent simplified. 25.8 degree steering head provides clues rake 3.4 inches; digital, so TW200 sensitively respond to steering input.
33 mm front forks are equipped with 6.3 inches of travel and bellows leggings to keep a portion of the fork tube to sweep clean, unsealed gravel damage. Coil spring in monoshock box section swing arm, and with its own 5.9 inches of travel. Although the suspension travel is not even close to the single-use, mountain biking, hanging is relatively easy, and enough pairs of sports multitasking role.
A 110 mm rear wheel mechanical drum brake combination, and a hydraulic clamp with a single 220 mm front brake discs in combination. Although the disk size is adequate, it lacks the popular "sea" design, providing self-cleaning ability a little bit, so I'll call this area there is a small room for improvement. Lace wheel itself, so you can give some extra bits in the rugged terrain of, and especially in road / off-road 130 / 80-18 front and 180 / 80-14 tires act as a "Jack of all", so that the whole drilling platform.
Transmission - Although air-cooled, four-stroke mill is relatively small, at 196 cubic centimeters, which is apparently not big enough. Drivers seem to alternate between moonshots and screams of joy - sometimes both, - so although a little stingy Yamaha digital hard disk performance, but it can definitely say that this is strong enough to work. Over a million engines running 9.5: 1 compression, so no race gas, even premium pump gas here, and three of 28mm carburetor feed mill, while keeping all the good things, simple. Simple is good, m'kay?
Capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) provide free repair ignition, automatic cam chain tensioner to maintain its own set just right, so you can spend more time riding and less time patching. A constant mesh five-speed transmission sends power the rear wheels via a chain drive. I lack the Kickstarter little surprised, because this bike has such a small engine, which is designed for off-road use at least half of the time; however, hey, there is always next year.
The suggested retail price in 2016 TW200 is a very reasonable $ 4,590 and come from mineral blue. Yamaha covering it with a one-year limited factory warranty.
